Local 2 Hospitality Industry Child & Elder Care Plan
Child Care Benefits help pay for caregivers and programs for children of all ages: newborns, preschoolers, grade-schoolers, teenagers, and older disabled children.
Eligible Children: Children that are eligible for these benefits include your natural children and those of your spouse or domestic partner. Adopted children, stepchildren, foster children, or other children who depend upon you for support and whom you claim as dependents on your federal income tax also qualify for these benefits.
Ineligible Providers: No reimbursement will be paid under any of these benefits for care provided by the participant or their spouse or domestic partner.
Birth or Marriage Certificates: Birth or marriage certificates in a foreign language must be translated into English. The translation must be verified by a notary public.
Annual Applications: If you received the benefit last year and are applying for the same child this year, you do not have to bring in forms to prove birth, marriage or social security number.
